I have decided that I am Ptolemy of Alexandria. For all of you who think this is a science/church split, think again!

First Thoughts

I'm debating as to if I should be Ptolemy. His text was considered the go-to place for Astronomy, and maintained a Geocentric viewpoint. His work was the largest piece of "evidence" against which Galileo fought. Here's a brief Wikipedia description of his text

Am I Doing It Right Guys?

The thought occurs to me that, having never done anything remotely like this before, I am doing it wrong. However, I could possibly be doing everything quite right. That remains to be seen, doesn't it? So, down to business. Herein we shall find contained various posts relating to my History 4B course this quarter. If I like it, it may continue.
